Einstein Fellowship Berlin 2023 For Young Thinkers (Fully Funded)

Applications are invited to apply for Einstein Fellowship Berlin 2023. This international fellowship program is funded by Einstein Forum and the Daimler and Benz Foundation. This is a fully-funded study abroad fellowship program in Berlin for outstanding young thinkers. The age of the applicant for Einstein Fellowship Berlin 2023 must be under 35 years.

The purpose of Einstein Fellowship Berlin is to support those who, in addition to producing excellent work in their area of ​​expertise, are also open to other interdisciplinary approaches, following the example of Albert Einstein. This Einstein scholarship in Berlin is for all international students regardless of nationality. IELTS or TOFEL are not required for this fully funded fellowship program in Berlin.

The Einstein Fellowship includes accommodation for five to six months in the garden hut of Einstein’s summer house in Caputh, Brandenburg, within walking distance of universities and academic institutions in Potsdam and Berlin. The fellow will receive a scholarship of € 10,000 and reimbursement of travel expenses.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be under the age of 35 and have a university degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences. Applications for 2023 must include a CV. A two-page project proposal.

Two letters of recommendation. All documents must be received by May 15, 2023. It is not relevant if the candidate started working or if he currently has a Ph.D.

At the end of the scholarship period, the fellow must present his project at a public conference at the Einstein Forum and at the Daimler and Benz Foundation.

A successful application must demonstrate the quality, originality, and feasibility of the proposed project, as well as the candidate’s superior intellectual development.

The proposed project does not have to be fully completed during the scholarship period, but it could be the start of a longer project.
