Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the DAAD EPOS Scholarship at Heidelberg University, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Educational Background:
  • Medical doctor (MD) OR
  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum 4 years / 240 ECTS) in public health, social sciences, or a related field.
• Work Experience:
  • At least 1 year of relevant professional experience in low- or middle-income countries.
• Language Requirements:
  • IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 92–93
  • Waived if English is your first language or if your degree was taught fully in English.
• German Language:
  • Not required for admission or scholarship.
