Are you a CEU IAS or CNRS SHS researcher seeking a fully funded academic mobility grant in Central-Eastern European studies? The Oszkár Sárkány Fellowship Grant 2025/2026, named after the Hungarian cultural historian Oszkár Sárkány (1912–1943), celebrates his legacy of inclusive cultural history and intellectual resistance. This prestigious fellowship fosters transnational research exchange in the humanities and social sciences, linking Central European University Institute for Advanced Study (CEU IAS) in Budapest with the Paris Institute for Advanced Study (Paris IEA) and CEFRES in Paris.
Launched in 2025, the program offers outstanding CEU IAS fellows the chance to conduct one month of research at Paris IEA and CNRS SHS members the opportunity for a 15-day residency at CEU IAS. Travel, accommodation, and daily living expenses are fully covered, enabling you to focus on cutting-edge research into themes like illiberalism, academic freedom, and Czech–Hungarian cultural relations.
