The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) International Fellowships offer an unparalleled postdoctoral research opportunity in Japan for outstanding early-career scholars from ASEAN and beyond. Each year, JSPS partners with leading Japanese universities and national research institutes to host pre‑ and post‑doctoral fellows in cutting-edge scientific collaboration projects. Launched to promote international exchange and deepen global research networks, the JSPS Fellowship enables participants to conduct independent cooperative research under the mentorship of world‑class Japanese scientists.
Fellows benefit from generous stipends, travel allowances, and access to state‑of‑the‑art facilities, accelerating both their personal career trajectories and Japan’s goal of research internationalization. Whether you’re investigating renewable energy solutions, advanced materials, life sciences, or social science methodologies, the JSPS International Fellowship provides the resources and institutional support to transform your research vision into reality.
