Upon applying to Loyola you’ll be automatically considered for academic merit scholarships. 99 percent of students receive some form of financial aid.

Eligibility Criteria:
Generally, students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA to qualify. International applicants are not eligible for federal need-based aid.
Loyola awards a limited amount of need-based aid to international students.

First-Year Academic Scholarships: All first-year applicants are automatically considered for merit-based academic scholarships, ranging from $14,000 to $23,000 per year. These awards are renewable for four years or eight academic semesters at Loyola. All students should apply for Financial Aid by submitting the FAFSA
International Student Scholarships: Merit Scholarships range from $14,000 to $23,000 for qualified international applicants. Generally, students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA to qualify. International applicants are not eligible for federal need-based aid. Students can submit the completed form via their application portal

Honors Scholarship: Students admitted to the University’s Honors Program will be awarded the Honors Scholarship valued at $5,000 per year and renewable for up to four years. For more information about the Honors Program application process.
Social Justice Scholarship: The Social Justice Scholarship is a financial award and student program that provides a way for Loyola students to live out the Jesuit tradition of academic excellence and the pursuit of social justice. This scholarship is only available for incoming first-year students and is renewed throughout the student’s four years at Loyola.
