1. MEXT Scholarship (University Recommendation)
The MEXT Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded opportunity for international students.

Eligibility Criteria:
Hold or expect to complete a Master’s degree before enrollment. Be under 35 years of age as of April 1, 2025 (born on or after April 2, 1990).
Demonstrate excellent academic achievements and English proficiency (minimum TOEFL iBT 72, IELTS 5.5, or CEFR B2). Be a national of a country with diplomatic relations with Japan.
Be in good physical and mental health. Reside outside Japan at the time of application. Not have been a previous MEXT scholarship recipient within the last three years.

2. Privately Funded Students

Application Documents
Applicants must email the following documents to [email protected] and send physical copies via international postal services (e.g., EMS):
- Application Form (Form A)
- Field of Study and Research Plan (Form B)
- Official Academic Transcripts (undergraduate and graduate degrees).
- Certificate of Graduation or Expected Graduation.
- Thesis Abstract (no more than one A4 page).
- Copy of Passport (or family register/residence certificate).
- English Proficiency Certificate (e.g., TOEFL or IELTS).
- Two Letters of Recommendation:
- One from the Dean or equivalent authority.
- One from a supervisor or equivalent authority.
Selection Process:
Applications are evaluated based on academic credentials, recommendation letters, and research potential.
