Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Sanger Prize Competition 2026, applicants must:
- Be from and currently studying in a low or middle-income country
- Be enrolled in an undergraduate degree with a genomics element, such as:
- Biological Sciences
- Bioinformatics
- Medicine
- Veterinary Science
- Applicants who have completed their degree but are awaiting graduation are also eligible
- Be 18 years or older at the time of application
