Curriculum vitae et studiorum: provide information about your studies, additional courses, work activities, or internships that may be relevant for the selection phase.
Bachelor’s degree: final or provisional certificate. If you have not finished your studies, ask your University for a letter with the estimated date of graduation and the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) obtained up to the most recent semester. If you are completing your studies, the final degree must be obtained by August 15.
Transcript of records: a list of examinations taken with several credits and marks. If you have not finished your studies, please report the complete transcript for the most recent semester.
Syllabus: description of the program of the exams taken (document required only by some courses).
(mandatory only for some courses, but always recommended for all) Certificate of knowledge of the English language at level B2: see the certificates accepted by UniGe on the web page https://clat.unige.it/CertificationiRiconosciute
If you have a bachelor’s degree in English, as a replacement for the certificate of knowledge of the English language, upload the certificate that attests to the medium of instruction (always check what the course of interest requires by consulting the Info Admission table above).
Attention: Some courses require additional documents, such as the portfolio and the motivation letter. Always check what is required by the course of interest.

Instructions for Submitting Your Pre-Assessment Application on UniGeApply
1. Registration
Create your UniGePass credentials by registering on the UniGeApply portal. Your username (e.g., S1234567) will also be your student number (matricola). Always include this number in inquiries.
If you already have UniGePass credentials, do not register again—use your existing login details.
Fill out the fields exactly as they appear on your passport. For compound names, include all names without using dashes or dots. If a field is empty on your passport, enter “X.” Mistakes can delay the process.
2. Access the UniGeApply Portal
- Log in to the UniGeApply portal using your credentials.
- Click the “Submit a new application for A.Y. 2026/27” button on the homepage to begin your application. Pre-assessment is mandatory for applying to Master’s programs in English.

3. Complete the Application
Fill in all mandatory fields (*) and upload the required documents.
Choose up to two courses, filtering for English-taught programs if needed.
Provide your details, Bachelor’s degree information, passport, and photo.
Upload additional required documents based on your selected course(s).
Save your application when complete. If done correctly, you’ll see “Complete, pending evaluation” and receive a confirmation email.
4. Notifications and Application Status
- If additional documents are needed, you’ll be notified by email and have three weeks to update them.
- Final application statuses:
- Accepted: Eligible to enroll; download your acceptance receipt.
- Conditionally Accepted: Additional requirements are needed before enrollment.
- Rejected: Entry requirements not met (specific reasons won’t be provided).

Next Steps After Pre-Selection
If accepted, proceed with the pre-registration on the university website for your visa application. Note: You can only apply for one course at this stage. Re-upload your documents to the University based on your acceptance receipt or pre-enrollment guidelines.
