Scholarships For International Students

President’s International Entrance Scholarship

Awarded on a competitive basis to new students entering their first semester in the fall. Students must have a complete admission file by the final document deadline of March 1, 2026, to be considered. No scholarship application is required. Eligible students will be notified through their offer of admission. 

University International Scholarship

Awarded on a competitive basis to new students entering their first semester in the fall. Students must have a complete admission file by the final document deadline of March 1, 2026, to be considered. No scholarship application is required. Eligible students will be notified through their offer of admission.

*Students admitted to the University of Guelph are eligible to receive a $5,000 award in years 2, 3 and 4 if all renewal criteria are met each year.

Dean’s International Scholarship

Awarded on a competitive basis to new students entering their first semester in the fall. Students must have a complete admission file by the final document deadline of March 1, 2026, to be considered. No scholarship application is required. Eligible students will be notified through their offer of admission.

Dr. Franco J. Vaccarino President’s Scholarship: $42,500 CAD

Recognizes students of academic distinction who have made significant contributions to their school and their community and demonstrates the potential to become leaders in society. This award also includes guaranteed on-campus residence, and guaranteed first-choice room preference in first year. Applications are due January 23, 2026.

International Transfer Scholarship: $10,000 CAD

International fee-paying transfer students admitted to an undergraduate degree program for Winter 2026 or Fall 2026 are eligible to receive a one-time $10,000 CAD scholarship. No scholarship application is required.
