Who can apply

You may apply if you meet all of the following:

You are enrolled at Universität Hamburg for at least 2 semesters (Bachelor / Staatsexamen) or 1 semester (Master).
You do not hold German citizenship.
You are not eligible for BAföG.
PhD/doctoral researchers are not eligible.

Curriculum Vitae (CV)

Motivation Letter (use the official template)

Transcript of Records / STiNE performance account (for Bachelor & Staatsexamen students)

Most recent degree certificate + transcript (for Master’s students)

Two evaluations from Universität Hamburg professors/lecturers with doctoral degrees (official template)

Proof of academic awards, publications, or achievements (optional)

Residence permit (non-EU) or EU ID + registration certificate — to be verified via Zoom with the program coordinator

Note: Documents not in German or English must be accompanied by certified translations. Only complete applications will be considered.
