List of AUA Scholarships

#1. Provost Scholarship

Award Amount

$100,000, awarded $10,000 per payment period (1-4) plus intersession and $12,500 per payment period (5-8)

Eligibility Requirements

MCAT score of 505 and above (28 and above on scores before 2015). All recommended courses GPA and undergraduate GPA of 3.50 and above. Hold an undergraduate degree (equivalent to a U.S. bachelor’s degree).

#2. Dean’s Achievement scholarship

Award Amount

$80,000, awarded $8,000 per payment period (1-4) plus intersession and $10,000 per payment period (5-8).

#3. High Achievers Scholarship

Award Amount

$95,000, awarded $9,500 per payment period (1-4) plus intersession, then $11,875 per payment period (5-8)

Eligibility Requirements

All recommended courses GPAs between 3.81 and 3.90. Undergraduate GPA between 3.81 and 3.90

#4. New York Scholarships

Award Amount

$20,000, awarded $4,000 per payment period (1-4) plus intersession

Eligibility Requirements

All recommended courses GPA of 3.00 and above. Undergraduate GPA of 3.25 and above. A resident of New York State.

How To Apply

Prior to scholarship/grant consideration, all candidates need acceptance to AUA and, where appropriate, a completed scholarship/grant application and supporting documentation. Scholarships/grants may not be combined; those who qualify for more than one will receive the award with the highest value only.

All scholarship/grant applications should be submitted prior to enrollment. Any changes to scholarships/grants are not retroactive to previous scholarship/grant submissions. For continuing eligibility requirements, please consult AUA’s Academic Catalog.
