ARES Belgium Government Scholarship 2024 (Fully Funded)

Application is invited to apply for ARES Belgium Government Scholarship 2024 for international students. The Académie De Recherche Et D’Enseignement Supérieur (ARES) offers a fully-funded scholarship in Belgium 2024 for international students for a bachelor’s and master’s degree and training course. All foreign students who are interested to study in Belgium with ARES Belgium Scholarship are highly encouraged to apply.

Each year Advanced Bachelor’s And Master’s Degrees Or Continuing Education Courses In Belgium ARES scholarship awards mre than 150 Belgium scholarships for bachelor’s and master’s degrees and 70 scholarships for training courses. Belgium Scholarship 2024 Criteria

Be a citizen of a developing country. If you don’t know, CLICK HERE. Be under 40 for undergraduate programs and less than 45 for training courses by the time training begins.

You must have a related academic background to apply for a relevant field. The duration is one academic year. At least two years of professional experience are required.

Passive knowledge of English (reading) is required.

ARES Scholarship 2024 coverage

This is a great opportunity to study for free in Belgium with a scholarship. The Belgian government offers fully-funded scholarships for international students for free studies in Belgium. All expenses will be covered.

For the masters:

  • International air tickets will be provided.
  • Subsistence allowance: € 1150 / month for a period of 12 months.
  • Indirect expenses of the mission: € 150: This is given once per stay upon arrival of the beneficiary.
  • Arrival fee, tuition, and return fees: € 700: This is given once per stay upon arrival of the beneficiary.

For the Bachelor:

  • Economy-class travel on an IATA-approved airline, with a maximum of one round-trip ticket per academic year.

For training courses:

  • International air tickets will be provided.

  • € 83 / day for stays of 8 to 17 days.
  • € 1400 / month for stays of 18 days to 1 month (fixed amount)
  • € 1400 / month for stays of 1 to 6 months, proportional to the number of days.
  • Indirect expenses of the mission: € 150: This is given once per stay upon arrival of the beneficiary.

How to apply for the Belgian scholarship 2024

Applications for scholarships must be submitted in accordance with the application procedure and meet the eligibility criteria described above. The selection of scholarship holders is made by a selection panel for each training course after analysis of their administrative admissibility by ARES.

All applications received between the first and last day of the call will be treated equally. ARES encourages applications from women. For equal quality, women will be given preference.

Applying for an ARES scholarship is completely free. ARES does not charge any fees at any stage of the application or selection process. You may inform us via e-mail at [email protected] of any problems with individuals or companies claiming to represent ARES and request any payment.

How Do I Submit A Grant Application?

Your application should be submitted to ARES via the GIRAF platform:

You must first ensure that you have an active GIRAF account.

You can create an account on the GIRAF platform via this link. This account will be validated (within a few hours to a few days, don’t create more than one account) by ARES and you will receive a confirmation mail to create a password.

If you created a validated account last year, you can reuse that account and if necessary reset your password.

Once logged into your GIRAF account, you can access the application form via the Competitive calls tab of your GIRAF profile. Please note that you must only click once on the “International training application 2023-2024” button. You will then find your form in the My tasks table of the Competitive calls.

You can complete your form several times, as long as you use the “Save and edit later” option. You will find your form each time in the My Tasks table of the Competitive calls tab in GIRAF.

As soon as you click on “Submit my application”, your application is sent to ARES and you can no longer modify it. You can still consult it in the My submitted files table.
