British Council STEM Scholarships In UK 2026-27 (Fully Funded)

Applications are now invited for the British Council STEM Scholarships in the UK 2026, a prestigious initiative under the British Council Women in STEM Scholarships program. This transformative scholarship is designed to empower women in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) by providing access to fully funded study opportunities in the United Kingdom, one of the world’s leading destinations for STEM education and research.

In today’s rapidly evolving global economy, STEM careers in the UK play a critical role in driving innovation, technological advancement, and sustainable development. Despite this, women remain significantly underrepresented in these fields, often facing financial, social, and structural barriers. The Women in STEM UK scholarship directly addresses these challenges by supporting talented female students to gain high-quality STEM education, develop leadership skills, and contribute to solving complex global issues.

The British Council Women in STEM Scholarship program seeks women with a strong academic background in STEM disciplines, demonstrated financial need, and a clear commitment to inspiring future generations of women in STEM careers. Beyond financial support, this UK-funded STEM scholarship for women offers a holistic empowerment model—combining academic excellence, professional development, and global networking—making it one of the most impactful international scholarships for women in STEM.

Naomi from Kenya. Since Kenya is not on the list of eligible countries, does that mean that women from my country will not have the opportunity to benefit from the scholarships offered?
