GWSC Scholarships in Asian Institute of Technology 2026 (Funded)

The Global Water and Sanitation Center (GWSC) Scholarship brings an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a Master’s degree in engineering, environmental sciences, and management studies. The center has officially launched the GWSC Scholarships for outstanding students and young professionals from developing countries, aimed at individuals who aspire to contribute meaningfully to national development through sustainable water and sanitation solutions.

The primary objective of this fully funded WASH-focused scholarship for developing countries is to support candidates who are deeply committed to the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector. As a newly established center at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), the GWSC is working to accelerate WASH strategies in Asia and globally, supported by funding from governments, international financing institutions, and global development partners to host large-scale global water and sanitation initiatives.

With generous funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, the GWSC currently manages several high-impact programs, including the Technical Assistance Hub (TA Hub), Integrated Municipal Information System (IMIS), National Sanitation Dashboard (NSD) enhancement, and the Women in Sanitation Enterprises Project (WISE). These initiatives focus on improving access to clean water, sustainable sanitation systems, and public health infrastructure in developing countries.

For passionate students and early-career professionals seeking a Master’s scholarship in water and sanitation, the GWSC Scholarship at AIT Thailand offers a life-changing study abroad opportunity. This program enables scholars to gain advanced expertise while contributing to global water security, sanitation innovation, and community development. Interested candidates are strongly encouraged to apply and become part of the international effort to improve clean water and sanitation access worldwide.
