Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the Helmut Veith Stipend, you must:

Be female with a Bachelor’s degree (Bologna first cycle or equivalent) in Computer Science or Mathematics.

Demonstrate solid mathematical and technical expertise in at least one of Veith’s research areas.

Be proficient in English and eligible for one of TU Wien’s English-taught Master’s programs in Computer Science.

Stipend & Conditions

  • €7,000 per year for up to 2 years
  • Full tuition fee waiver at TU Wien
  • Residency Requirement: Must live in Austria during term time (short internships/research visits possible with approval)
  • Academic Progress:
    • Minimum 25 ECTS credits per term (deadlines: April 30 & November 30)
    • Grade average ≤ 1.5 (Austrian scale)
