Application is invited to apply for Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin HZB International Summer Student Program 2022. This is a fully-funded summer exchange program for international students in Germany. Each summer, the HZB offers college students the eight-week Summer Student Program.
Students from all over the world have the opportunity to work on their own research projects in close cooperation with scientists. The program offers students the opportunity to participate in the daily work of our research teams in their laboratories or experimental areas located on the HZB campuses in Berlin-Wannsee or Berlin-Adlershof.
Both Male and Female Participants can apply. The Summer Student Programme will take place from July 4 to August 29, 2022. Students from all over the world get the chance to work in their related fields.

Financial Coverage
This summer program in Berlin 2022 Germany is a fully-funded student exchange program in Germany and will cover all expenses, including:
An 8-week internship contract to work on a project. A subsistence allowance for the entire duration of the contract of € 1800 gross for external participants and € 1000 gross for students from universities located in Berlin and Potsdam.
Travel expenses will be subsidized up to € 500 to help you with travel expenses between Berlin and your home.

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for a place in the program, you will need to meet the following requirements:
International students from all over the world. You are a student (not a Ph.D. candidate) in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related disciplines. You must have completed at least two years of full-time study in your core subject at the college level.
You will remain registered as a student during your stay at HZB. You have a good knowledge of English, knowledge of German would be an advantage. You will need to submit a reference letter at the end of the application period.
