The Parkes Shire Council proudly announces the opening of applications for the 2025 Jack Scoble Scholarships. These annual scholarships celebrate the legacy of Jack Scoble, a dedicated Councillor and community advocate, by supporting local students in their pursuit of further education and training.

About the Jack Scoble Scholarship

Named in honor of Jack Scoble’s commitment to fostering opportunities for young people, the scholarships provide financial assistance to students residing in the Parkes Shire. The program empowers local youth to achieve their academic and vocational goals while encouraging community engagement.

Since its inception, the scholarship fund has provided $146,000 in financial support to deserving students. In the 2025 round, $15,000 is available to be awarded to applicants who demonstrate academic dedication and a commitment to their community.
