University of Gothenburg Axel Adler Scholarship In Sweden 2024 (Funded)

Application is invited to apply for the University of Gothenburg Axel Adler Scholarship In Sweden 2024. Axel Adler scholarship is a tuition fee scholarship and is awarded for international undergraduate and graduate program studies taught in English at the University of Gothenburg. 

The election of scholars is primarily based on the applicant’s qualifications in regard to the study program. Axel Adler Scholarship is funded by the Adlerbertska Scholarship Foundation and Adlerbertska Grant Foundation and the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR).

The University of Gothenburg is a university in Sweden’s second-largest city, Gothenburg. Founded in 1891, the university is the third-oldest of the current Swedish universities and with 37,000 students and 6000 staff members, it is one of the largest universities in the Nordic countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Axel Adler Scholarship:

You are required to pay tuition in Sweden.

You need to apply for an international campus-based program at the University of Gothenburg, as your first priority.

You need to submit your application for studies by 15 January 2024 pay the application fee and document your eligibility for studies by 1 February 2024 through www.universityadmissions.se.

Selection process

Academic staff make the assessment and ranking, based on the CV and Motivation letter in your scholarship application.

The assessment is made in collaboration with the assessment of your application to the study program, in order to assess your suitability for the program as well as your commitment and desire to study.

There is one scholarship awarded for each program. 

There is an exception for Master’s programs in Fine Arts, Crafts, and Design and programs in Music and Performance which will be awarded a total of four scholarships for all programs.

The decision of results for applicants at the Master level will be sent out via email on 5 April 2024.

For applicants, at the Bachelor level, the decision is sent out on 12 April 2024.

How To Apply

Students who have applied to a program at the University of Gothenburg as their first priority through www.universityadmission.se, will receive an email with application instructions on 8 February 2024.

The invitation to apply for the Axel Adler Scholarship will be sent to the email address you have registered at universityadmissions.se.

CV and Letter of Motivation

When applying for the Axel Adler Scholarship you shall include a CV and a Letter of Motivation as written text, these are used for the selection of scholars. 

In the motivational letter, you have the possibility to highlight the merits of your CV. It is not possible to attach any other form of documentation to your scholarship application.
