KDU Global – IUCEA Scholarship 2027 (Fully Funded)

The KDU Global – IUCEA Scholarship 2026 is a prestigious international scholarship opportunity for students from East African Community (EAC) member countries who wish to pursue undergraduate studies in South Korea. This scholarship is jointly offered by the Inter-University Council for East Africa (IUCEA) and Kyungdong University Global (KDU Global).

The program aims to strengthen academic cooperation between East Africa and South Korea by providing fully funded and partially funded bachelor’s degree scholarships in high-demand international and technology-focused disciplines. All programs are taught in English Track and are based at KDU Global Campus in South Korea.

Full Scholarship (Limited Seats)

  • 100% tuition fee coverage (approx. USD 8,000 per year)
  • Free on-campus dormitory accommodation (first 2 years)

Partial Scholarship

  • 100% tuition waiver for the first semester
  • Performance-based tuition discounts from the second semester:

Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the KDU Global – IUCEA Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of an eligible East African country
  • Have recently completed secondary education
  • Achieve at least a B grade in Mathematics and English
  • Be 22 years old or younger
  • Provide proof of English language proficiency:
    • IELTS: Minimum 5.5
    • TOEFL iBT: Minimum 71

Financial Requirement

Full Scholarship: Minimum USD 5,000 bank balance

Partial Scholarship: Minimum USD 16,000 bank balance
