Mälardalen University is inviting applications for the Mälardalen University Scholarship in Sweden 2026, a highly competitive scholarship for international students designed to support those seeking to study a master’s degree in Sweden with full tuition coverage. This 100% tuition fee scholarship in Sweden covers the entire cost of the academic program, provided students follow the normal study plan of at least 22.5 ECTS credits per semester and 45 credits per academic year.
Every year, Mälardalen University, one of the leading public universities in Sweden, awards a limited number of merit-based scholarships to outstanding applicants who select the university as their first-choice institution for master’s studies in Sweden. While the scholarship significantly reduces the cost of studying in Sweden for international students, it is important to note that living expenses in Sweden are not included in this funding opportunity.
Applicants should be aware that if their status changes from a fee-paying international student to a non-fee-paying student during the study period, they will no longer remain eligible for the Mälardalen University tuition scholarship. Therefore, students planning to study in Sweden with a scholarship must ensure continued eligibility throughout the duration of their master’s program.
