Malaysia Scholarship Criteria
No more than 40 to 45 years for master’s and doctorate. respectively. For the master’s degree, candidates must obtain a minimum of Second Superior Class (with honors) or a minimum CGPA of 3.5 in a Bachelor’s Degree.
Doctoral candidates must obtain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 or very good results at the master’s level in a similar field to the planned doctorate.
A written proposal, with at least 1,000 words, relevant to the field of study. Proof of English language proficiency, such as IELTS or TOEFL. OR Applicants who obtain degrees with English as a means of instruction can also be accepted (evidence is a prerequisite).

Financial coverage
The Malaysian International Scholarship is not fully funded. It will cover only the basic expenses provided below.
This scholarship will cover tuition fees. A monthly living allowance of RM 1,500.00 per month will be provided. Selected candidates are expected to independently organize their trips to Malaysia (non-financial provisions). The Malaysian government will not cover travel expenses.
All applicants are strongly recommended to verify expected housing expenses in Malaysia.
