Eligibility Requirements

Citizenship must be from countries outside the European Union and the European Economic Area. Demonstrated exceptional academic performance and potential.

Intent to pursue studies at either MQF (Malta Qualifications Framework) Level 7 or MQF Level 8. Should not currently hold a qualification at the same level as the intended study.

Applicants shall start their course leading to a Qualification at MQF Level 7 or MQF Level 8 between
9th May 2025 and 8th May 2026. Applicants who have already started the course before 9th May 2025
are not eligible to apply.

Applicants with a Master’s degree may apply for a higher degree, such as a Doctorate, but not for another Master’s or lower-level postgraduate certificate or diploma.

Scholarship Levels & Eligible Study Areas

1. Master’s Degree Scholarships

• Duration: 1–2 years

2. Doctoral Degree Scholarships
