  • Must not have previously enrolled in a Taiwanese educational institution at the same degree level as the one being applied for
  • Must not be an exchange student through an academic cooperation agreement between an overseas university and a Taiwanese institution
  • Must have no record of revocation from an MOE Scholarship program or any other government-sponsored scholarship
  • Cannot concurrently accept any other R.O.C. government-sponsored scholarships or subsidies alongside this award

Academic Performance Conditions:

  • If recipients fail to meet the required grade standard in the first semester, the scholarship will be cancelled from the following March semester
  • If recipients fail in the second semester, the scholarship will be cancelled from the following September semester
  • If recipients fail to meet the grade standard in two consecutive semesters, the scholarship will be permanently revoked
