NAU Institutional grants and scholarships are available to qualified undergraduate freshmen and transfer students. Grant and scholarship recipients must meet all University requirements for regular admission in the fall and spring semesters for eligibility.
Full-time students may qualify for grants and scholarships toward their tuition and fees as outlined in the academic catalog. Students will be responsible for all other expenses, such as admissions, housing application, and enrollment confirmation fees.
The scholarship allows Undergraduate and graduate level programs in the field of All Subjects taught at North American University (NAU).

Scholarship Benefits:
NAU provides various scholarship categories based on academic merit for both domestic and international students. These NAU scholarships vary in value from $3,000 to $22,000, depending on the type of scholarship and the academic accomplishments of the student.
Scholarships for Domestic Students
NAU offers academic merit scholarships for domestic students in various tiers, starting from the Foundation Scholarship valued at $3,000 and going up to the NAU Scholarship worth $8,000. Eligibility criteria are based on GPA and SAT/ACT scores, with renewal requirements ranging from maintaining a CGPA of 2.25 to 3.75.
Scholarships for International Students
International students can access similar academic merit scholarships, with significantly higher amounts allocated to support their educational endeavors. These scholarships range from the Foundation Scholarship valued at $12,000 to the NAU Scholarship worth $22,000. Furthermore, Academic Excellence Awards and Exceptional Merit Scholarships (EMS) are available, providing financial assistance based on academic achievements, community involvement, and leadership experiences.

Stallion Academic Excellence Award
Academic Excellence Awards are available to international undergraduate students demonstrating exceptional academic performance and achievement. Students must earn at least 18 credit hours while attending NAU and meet the minimum CGPA requirements to be eligible for consideration.
Academic Excellence Awards may increase or decrease based on the student’s CGPA and will be replaced with the appropriate scholarship level each review period. International NAU Scholarship recipients do not qualify for the Stallion Academic Excellence Awards.
Exceptional Merit Scholarship
Exceptional Merit Scholarships (EMS) are only available to international students and are solely awarded at the discretion of the Exceptional Merit Scholarship Committee. Award amounts vary and may only be applied to cover tuition, fees, and housing provided by the University.
Awards are valid for up to one academic year and cannot exceed the total cost of attendance. Any unused scholarship funds will not be disbursed to the student and will remain with the University.

How To Apply
To apply for institutional scholarships, students must submit all supporting documents including SAT, ACT, high school transcripts, and previous college transcripts, by the requested deadline. Additional supporting documents will not be accepted once the initial scholarship award has been issued.
