Application is invited to apply for The Saïd Foundation Scholarships In UK 2025. The Saïd Foundation has offered educational scholarships and training opportunities since 1984. The program aims to empower people through educational opportunities and to encourage the development of the Middle East.

It is targeted toward outstanding individuals with leadership potential who will be drivers of positive change within our target countries of Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine. Saïd Foundation scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and applications are carefully considered by officers and trustees of the Foundation and external assessors.

Our decisions are based on the candidate’s academic excellence, the usefulness of the subject to their home country, their leadership potential, their commitment to serving their community, their future career goals, and their practical ability to make use of the knowledge to be gained in the UK on their return to the Middle East.

What courses are considered?

Saïd Foundation offers scholarships for one-year master’s degree courses in the UK.

There are no restrictions on academic subjects but candidates must demonstrate that their subject will enable them to contribute to the development of their home country.

Candidates must apply to one or more of the Foundation’s partner universities. You can find details of partner universities here.

Saïd Foundation may consider an application for study at a non-partner university but only if the candidate’s proposed course is not offered by a partner university. If you have selected a non-university partner you must explain why in your application form or your application will not be considered for a scholarship.

Saïd Foundation will not consider applications for study at universities outside the UK or for undergraduate or PhD programs.

How to Apply

In order to be considered for a Saïd Foundation scholarship you are required to submit the required documents with your online application. 

All documents must be submitted with your application. The only documents you will be able to provide after submission are university offers/evidence of having applied to your chosen courses (if applications do not open until after 31st October) and English language test certificates.

These documents must be uploaded to the online application portal. The deadline for the academic year 2025/2026 will be announced soon.
