Application is invited to apply for the State University of New York Geneseo Scholarships for International Students 2024. For the 2024-25 academic year, SUNY Geneseo has increased funding to merit scholarships. The USA scholarships offered to undertake Undergraduate degrees.
New students who have been admitted to Geneseo will automatically be considered for all merit-based scholarships at the time they are admitted. If an additional application is required for a scholarship, your admissions counselor will contact you with details after your application to SUNY Geneseo has been received.
SUNY Geneseo is test optional. SAT and ACT scores will not be considered when awarding merit-based scholarships.

International applicants do not need to complete any additional applications to be considered for the scholarships below.
To be considered for these scholarships, please submit an application for admission and provide all required academic documents.
International Student Academic Merit Scholarship Awards
These tuition scholarships range from $5,000 USD – $9,000 USD per year and are awarded at the time of admission. Awards are based on outstanding academic achievements as evidenced by grades on transcripts (or mark sheets) and results on national examinations.
Academic scholarships are renewable for up to four years with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. International applicants admitted to SUNY Geneseo are automatically considered for an International Student Scholarship. Freshman (first-year) and transfer students are eligible for International Student Scholarships.
The priority deadline for scholarships is January 1 for the Fall semester and October 1 for the Spring semester. Scholarships will be awarded on a case-by-case basis as available after those dates.
