Applications are now open for the Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) Scholarship 2026 in Indonesia! This fully funded scholarship is your gateway to study for Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degrees at one of Indonesia’s most respected public universities—UNS (Universitas Sebelas Maret).

The scholarship covers up to 8 semesters for Bachelor’s, 4 semesters for Master’s, and 6 semesters for Doctoral programs, provided students maintain the minimum academic grade and comply with Indonesian academic regulations. From tuition to living costs, this scholarship ensures that your academic journey is supported every step of the way.

To apply, candidates must first secure an offer letter from UNS and then obtain a recommendation letter from the nearest Indonesian Embassy or Consulate General. This requires submitting your offer letter, graduation certificates, academic transcripts, and passport. Scholarship recipients must actively participate in academic activities and are expected to complete their programs within the designated timeframe, or they will be responsible for any extended costs.

Scholarship Types

1. Full Scholarship

  • Tuition fee waiver
  • Monthly living allowance:
    • IDR 1.500.000 (Bachelor)
    • IDR 1.750.000 (Master)
    • IDR 2.250.000 (Doctoral)

2. Partial Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

Be non-Indonesian citizens

Be under 24 years old (Bachelor’s degree applicants)

Not hold refugee status or have been convicted of a serious crime

Demonstrate English language proficiency: TOEFL: min. 450 (Science) / 500 (Social Science), or equivalent

Show strong interest in studying at UNS

Be willing to attend an online interview

Have financial support

Complete all required documents

Scholarship Duration

Bachelor: 8 semesters

Students must maintain a minimum GPA:

  • 3.00 (Social Sciences)
  • 2.75 (Engineering & Natural Sciences)

Responsibilities of Awardees

Comply with Indonesian laws and university regulations

Graduate within the scholarship duration

Follow terms stated in the scholarship agreement

Scholarship may be revoked in cases of violation or underperformance. Resigned awardees must reimburse received funds.
