Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the University of Aberdeen Humanitarian Scholarship, candidates must fulfill all of the following requirements:

Residency & Status: Must reside outside the UK at the time of application and hold international fee status.

Visa Eligibility: Eligible to apply for a UK Student visa with valid travel documentation.

Academic Offer: Hold an offer of admission for an eligible full-time postgraduate taught Master’s program at the Aberdeen Campus.

Academic Excellence: Demonstrate high academic achievement equivalent to a UK First-Class Honours degree.

Conflict Impact: Must have been directly affected by armed conflict or face serious ongoing risks (including internally displaced persons, direct threats to life/safety, imminent displacement, entrapment in conflict zones, or severe deprivation of essential needs).

Prior Qualifications: Applicants must not already hold a degree equal to or higher than the Master’s program applied for.
