University of Hawaii ADB-Japan Scholarship 2025 (Fully Funded)

Application is invited to apply for the University of Hawaii Scholarships funded by the Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program. This is a fully funded scholarship program for local and international students in the United States.

This USA international scholarship program designed by the Asian Development Bank annually offers more than 300 scholarship programs to undertake a master’s and doctoral degree program. The University of Hawaii is a Public Research University and one of the oldest universities in the United States.

The University of Hawaii scholarships for international students will cover all the expenses during the degree program. There are no application fees for a USA scholarship and the duration of the USA master scholarship will be 2 years.

Eligibility criteria

The basic eligibility requirements for the ADB-JSP scholarship at the East-West Center are as follows. Applicants must:

Be a citizen and current resident of a developing member country of the Asian Development Bank and not more than 35 years old at the time of application.

Have a 4-year bachelor’s degree or the equivalent of a 4-year Bachelor’s degree, at the time of application. (An equivalent could be a 3-year Bachelor’s degree plus a 1-year Master’s degree, or a 2-year bachelor’s degree plus a 2-year Master’s degree. This is subject to review.)

Have at least 2 years of full-time professional work experience after a university degree at the time of application.

Take one of the English proficiency tests; the minimum acceptable scores are 550 for the paper-based TOEFL; 213 for the computer-based TOEFL; 79-80 for the internet-based TOEFL iBT; 95 for the DUOLINGO; or 6.5 for the IELTS. University of Hawaii Scholarship Benefits

The ADB scholarship is a full scholarship for international students in the USA. It will cover all costs of the program as well as other expenses.
