Scholarship Benefits

Undergraduate Students

• Up to AUD 48,000 over 4 years
• Up to AUD 36,000 over 3 years
• Up to AUD 24,000 depending on ATAR score

Postgraduate Students

• Up to AUD 24,000 over 2 years
• Awarded based on Weighted Average Mark (WAM)

Special Combined Degree Opportunity

Students enrolled in selected combined degrees (such as Engineering combinations) may receive:

• Up to AUD 60,000 over 5 years

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the Global Excellence Scholarship 2026, applicants must:

• Receive an offer for an eligible course at the University of Western Australia
• Meet the minimum academic requirements:
  • Undergraduate: ATAR 85.00 or higher
  • Postgraduate: WAM 65.00 or higher
• Be commencing studies in the 2026 intake
• Meet all program-specific admission requirements
• Hold international student status

• Students progressing from pathway programs must have a minimum WAM of 75
