Applications are now open to apply for the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC) Scholarship 2026 in Thailand. This is a fully funded scholarship program for international students offered by one of Thailand’s leading research universities. All expenses during the study period — including tuition fees, accommodation, living costs, and research support — will be fully covered by VISTEC.

VISTEC offers a wide range of master’s and doctoral degree programs in fields such as Science, Engineering, Energy, Molecular Science, Biosciences, and Information Technology. Required Qualifications for the School of Biomolecular Science and Engineering (BSE)

For the master’s program:

Seniors at the undergraduate level, or holders of a B.Sc. Graduate:

Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Physics, and related fields. OR
A B. Engineering Degree (Chemical, Biological, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, and related areas) OR
Bachelor of Applied Sciences, such as Pharmacy, Medical Technology, and related areas.

For the doctoral program:

Students in the Final Year of the Master’s Degree level, or holding a Master’s Degree in:

Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Physics, and related fields. OR
A B. Engineering Degree (Chemical, Biological, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, and related areas) OR
Bachelor of Applied Sciences, such as Pharmacy, Medical Technology, and related areas.

Students must have a good academic record or have published graduate research in international journals.

Required Qualification: School of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE)

Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in:

Materials Science and Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Mathematics, etc.), Polymer Science, Polymer Engineering, Ceramic Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other related fields.

Financial Coverage

As stated above, the VISTEC scholarship in Thailand is fully funded. All expenses will be borne by the University. All accepted students will receive the following benefits:

University fees (THB 600,000-1,500,000 for the duration of the study, depending on the selected program)

Monthly scholarship (444,000-1,350,000 THB for the duration of the study, depending on the selected program)

Research operation (300,000-750,000 THB for the duration of the study, depending on the selected program)

Travel expenses for the presentation of the conference (up to THB 50,000 to 150,000 during the study period, depending on the selected program)
Supporting resources, such as a personal computer, books, and stationery (THB 30,000)

All expenses for conducting research abroad (up to 1,000,000 THB for Ph.D. programs only)

Sports facilities and activities for students.
