Eligibility Criteria
Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents
Applicants must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents of Canada.
A minimum overall academic average of 90% on all Grade 12 U/M courses (or equivalent) is required.
Applicants must have applied for full-time studies at the main campus.
School nomination is mandatory.

International Students
The International President’s Entrance Scholarships are available exclusively for international students studying in Canada.
Applicants must not hold Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
Application Process and Deadlines
Deadline
All applications, including nominations and supporting documents, must be submitted by February 14, 2025.
School Nomination
A school nomination is required for the National Scholarship program.
Complete the Nomination Request Form within the application portal.
Provide the School Administrator’s email address to initiate the nomination and transcript request.
Check with your school for any internal processes for obtaining a nomination.
Reference Letter (Assessor)
One reference letter is required from a teacher or staff member familiar with your academic and extracurricular work.
Use the Assessor Request Form in the application portal to send a request.
Follow up with your assessor to ensure they submit their reference letter before the deadline.

Transcript Submission
- A transcript is required, submitted directly by your school.
- The request and instructions for uploading the transcript are included in the email sent to your School Administrator.
- Ensure the transcript is submitted by February 14, 2025.
Essay Submission
- Write an original essay on an issue of public concern that matters to you.
- The essay should be between 1,000 and 1,250 words in length and submitted in PDF format.

To access the National Scholarship application:
- Use your OUAC reference number and date of birth.
- Please note that it may take up to 5 business days for your information to appear in the system after you submit your OUAC admission application.
