Application is open to apply for the CERN technical student internship 2025 in Switzerland. The CERN Technical Internship program is a fully-funded international internship opportunity in Switzerland. The CERN administrative internship will cover all student expenses.
All international students with any degree like a bachelor’s, or master’s, or graduate from CERN Member or Associate Member State is eligible to apply for a switcherland internship. Configuration for this CERN internship is not required for IELTS or TOEFL.
A number of fields are available for CERN short-term internships in Switzerland. The field includes applied physics, electrical or electronics engineering, general or civil engineering, IT, mathematics and robotics, material and surface science, mechanical engineering, administration, and many more.

Eligibility Criteria
The following criteria are required for a CERN administrative summer internship in Switzerland.
The applicant belongs to one of the CERN Member or Associate Member states.
Students at least complete 18 months of education in undergraduate programs or graduate programs.
The candidate must have good knowledge of English or French.
Financial Coverage
As indicated above CERN Technical Student Program is a fully-funded paid international internship in Switzerland and the following expenses will be covered.
- A contract of work of 4 to 12 on the CERN Project.
- You will receive a monthly allowance of 1,577 Swiss Francs
- Economy class round air ticket to and from Geneva.
- Health and medical insurance
- 2,5 days paid leave.
