Applications are invited for the European Forum Alpbach awards scholarships 2027. This is a fully-funded European Forum Conference for international student all around the world. The European Forum attracts around 5,000 participants to the Tyrolean village of Alpbach every year.
Every year, the European Forum Alpbach awards scholarships to hundreds of outstanding young talents from all around the world. The Alpbach awards scholarship program enables students, young professionals, and changemakers to come to Alpbach and attend a unique program consisting of scientific and artistic seminars, a high-level conference program, and a variety of social and cultural activities.
The Minimum Duration of the Conference is 12 days & will start from 21 August to 2 September 2026. The age of the Participants should be 18-35 Years. For more details, check the information provided below.

The Selected Participants will receive the Funding from the Forum, given as:

- Daily allowance to cover food expenses.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for an #efa22 scholarship, you must not have attended the on-site conference of the European Forum Alpbach as a scholarship holder before.
The main language of the European Forum Alpbach is English. Therefore, you need to be able to communicate in English fluently (at a minimum on a European B2 level).
All first-time scholarship applicants must be aged between 18 and 30. For African applicants, the threshold of 35 applies.
All young people meeting the scholarship requirements may apply regardless of their country of residence. The application process varies in case you are an Austrian, Chinese, or Taiwanese national.
All applicants must be available and ready to attend the European Forum Alpbach 2027 from 20 August to 2 September 2026.
