Benjamin A. Gilman Scholarships

The Gilman Scholarship Program offers awards for undergraduate study abroad and was established by the International Academic Opportunities Act of 2000.

This scholarship offers awards to US undergraduate students who receive Federal Pell Grant funds in a two or four-year college or university to participate in study abroad and internship programs around the world.

Over 3200 scholarships of up to $5,000 will be awarded this academic year for US citizen undergraduates to study abroad (with the potential of an additional $3000 for students who also apply for the Critical Need Language award).

Boren Awards for International Study

The Boren Awards are funded by the National Security Education Program (NSEP), which focuses on geographic areas, languages, and fields of study that are considered essential to U.S. national security.

Candidates identify how their study programs abroad or their projects abroad, as well as their future academic and professional goals, will contribute to the broadly defined national security of the United States.

Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000. Boren Scholars and Fellows study throughout the world, including Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East.

Georgia Mining Foundation Scholars

Georgia Mining Foundation was created with a scholarship fund of $ 40,000 to be distributed as individual grants of $ 500. In addition to these individual grants of $ 500, the Foundation will also donate three (3) grants of $ 1,000 to be paid to seniors. two years ($ 500 per year for two years).
