The application is invited to apply for the LPI Summer Intern Program in Planetary Science in the United States in 2023. This is a fully-funded USA internship program for international students. There is No Application Fee Required. The Duration of the Internship is 10 weeks.
LPI’s Summer Internship Program in Planetary Sciences offers undergraduate students the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research, learn from widely respected planetary scientists, and discover exciting careers in planetary science.
The Lunar and Planetary Institute invites undergraduates with at least 50 semester hours of credit to experience cutting-edge research in the lunar and planetary sciences.
Students with majors in physical or natural science, engineering, computer science, or mathematics are preferred, but all eligible students will be considered.
During the 10-week internship, students have the opportunity to participate in enrichment activities, including conferences and professional development workshops. The LPI Internship will Start on June 5–August 11, 2023.

Eligibility Criteria
All national and international undergraduate students can apply. Students must be willing to intern for 10 weeks in length.
Students from all fields can apply, but priority will be given to students majoring in mathematics, computer science, natural or physical sciences, and engineering.
Candidates will be considered without discrimination of gender, age, color, disability, race, or religion.
IELTS / TOEFL is NOT required if you can obtain a Certificate of English Proficiency from your English teacher at your university.

Benefits of the LPI Summer Internship

How to apply for LPI Internship 2023
You will need to apply using the online application form. Paper applications will not be accepted. Applications are only accepted using the online application form.
Once you begin the application, you must complete all questions on the form, including essay-style questions. Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email with your application number and a link to view the status of your reference letters. You are required to submit at least two reference letters (maximum of 3) and official transcripts to qualify for the program.
Transcripts and letters of recommendation may be submitted independently, but they must be received by December 12, 2022, for your application to be considered.
