Eligibility Criteria
You applied and met the entry requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne or are currently enrolled in a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne. All international and national students are eligible.
Financial coverage
Graduate research scholarships at the University of Melbourne will provide scholarships to study in Australia for free to all national and international students.
Total compensation of the fee of up to two years for students pursuing a Master’s in Research or up to four years for students pursuing a doctorate.
Subsistence allowance of US $ 31,200 per year on a pro-rata basis (full-time study fee 2021) for up to two years for students with a master’s degree in research or up to 3.5 years for students with a doctorate. The living allowance can be indexed annually and includes limited maternity leave and parental leave.
$ 2000 relocation allowance for students moving from non-Victoria territories or states or $ 3000 for students moving from Australia. Unique accession to Student Health Abroad (OSHC) for international students who need a student visa to study in Australia.
