Rotary Peace Master Degree Scholarship 2023-24 (Fully Funded)

Application is invited to apply for Rotary Peace Fellowship 2023. Each year, Rotary Scholarships awards up to 130 fully-funded fellowships for dedicated leaders from around the world to study at one peace center. There are 50 Scholarships for the Master’s Degree Program & 80 for Certificate Degree Programs.

This is a fully-funded Scholarship for an international student to study Full-Time Masters Degree Program or a Certificate Program at one of the Top Universities in the world. The fellowships cover tuition and fees, room and board, round-trip transportation, and all internship and field-study expenses.

Since the program began in 2002, the Rotary Peace Centers have trained more than 1,400 fellows who now work in more than 115 countries. Many serve as leaders in governments, NGOs, the military, education, law enforcement, and international organizations like the United Nations and the World Bank.

Eligibility Criteria

For the master’s program:

  • Be proficient in English
  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • A strong commitment to intercultural understanding and peace, as evidenced by professional and academic achievements and personal or community service.
  • Leadership potential
  • Have at least three years of full-time experience in peace or development work.
  • You are not eligible if you are an active Rotarian, an employee of a Rotary club, Rotary International, or another Rotary entity.

Eligibility for the certification program

  • Necessary work experience.
  • Be proficient in English
  • Have a bachelor’s degree
  • A strong commitment to intercultural understanding and peace, as evidenced by professional and academic achievements and personal or community service.
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Explain how your peacebuilding plan aligns with Rotary’s mission.
  • Makerere University Candidates: Maybe from the region or currently working in the region.
