Eligibility Criteria

The following eligibility criteria will be considered for free scholarships for international students at the Skoltech University of Russia.

A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required if the applicant graduated from a university where the high school is in English.

For master’s degree programs: bachelor’s degree or specialist or equivalent, from an accredited university.

For doctoral programs: master’s degree or specialist or equivalent, from an accredited university.

Financial Coverage

This is a full free scholarship for international students in Russia. These free scholarships to study abroad in Russia will cover almost most of the expenses, not all, but most of the expenses, such as:

• Full tuition fee covered. Free master’s programs, free doctoral programs. It is not necessary to pay the fee to study in Russia
• A monthly allowance of 40,000 RUR per month

Application Requirements

The Online application​ makes the process easier for potential students.  We advise you to carefully read the application instructions, requirements, and deadlines for the chosen academic program.

The application includes the following documents: a CV, a motivation letter, two letters of recommendation, a TOEFL/IELTS score report (if applicable), a diploma, and an academic transcript (if applicable). Applicants who do not have proof of English proficiency may take the English language proficiency test during a Selection Weekend at Skoltech.
