Financial Benefits

The Erasmus+ Grants provide funding based on country group, travel distance, and type of mobility:

1. Study Mobility

  • EUR 606/month – Country Group 1
  • EUR 550/month – Country Groups 2 & 3
  • Top-up for Students with Fewer Opportunities: EUR 250/month
  • Travel Allowance based on EU distance calculator
  • Green Travel Bonus: Up to 6 extra travel days

2. Internship Mobility

  • EUR 606–550/month + EUR 150 internship supplement
  • EUR 250 inclusion top-up
  • Travel Allowance + Green Travel Support

3. Staff Mobility

  • EUR 190/day (Group 1), EUR 170/day (Group 2), EUR 140/day (Group 3)
  • Travel Allowance + 6 extra green travel days

4. Short-Term Mobility / BIP

  • EUR 79/day (first 14 days), EUR 56/day (15–30 days)
  • EUR 100–150 top-up for fewer opportunities

5. International Mobility

  • Students: EUR 700/month
  • Staff: EUR 190/day + travel
  • PhD Students: EUR 79–190/day depending on employment

Eligible Nationalities

All students and staff enrolled or employed at the University of Liechtenstein, regardless of nationality, are eligible to apply for Erasmus+ mobility opportunities in other European or partner countries.

Eligibility Criteria

Must be currently enrolled as a Bachelor, Master, or PhD student, or employed as staff at the University of Liechtenstein.

Students must have completed at least one semester before applying.

Mobility must be for study, internship, teaching, or training at a recognized partner institution.

Minimum duration: 2 months (study) or 2 weeks (staff training), up to 12 months per cycle.

Must demonstrate language proficiency in the host institution’s teaching language.

Must comply with Erasmus+ regulations and submit required documentation.

Application Procedure

Choose Destination: Select your host university or organization within the Erasmus+ partner network.

Contact International Office: Get guidance and support from the university’s international mobility team.

Deadline:

  • 15 June – for Winter Semester
  • 15 November – for Summer Semester

Prepare Documents: Include Learning Agreement, mobility plan, and supporting forms.

Receive Confirmation: Upon approval, funding details and travel arrangements are provided.

Internship Applicants: Apply at least one month before your internship start date.
