Application is now open to apply for the University of South Australia International Scholarship 2025. This Australian scholarship offers a fully-funded Master’s and doctoral level study abroad scholarship for international students and the University of South Australia scholarship funded by the Australian Government.
A total of 300 scholarships are offered to international students to study in Australia for Full-Time Master’s Degree Programs & Ph.D. Degree Programs. The beauty of this scholarship is that it offers all major fields and academic disciplines for a master’s scholarship in Australia and a Ph.D. Scholarship in Australia.
Many Scholarships are industry or area-specific. However, other key scholarships are available to international applicants in any discipline. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list and encourages you to seek additional opportunities.

#1. Research Training Program International (RTPi) Scholarships
Value:
The total stipend is at least $ 28,854 per year (2024 stipend rate) paid biweekly for a maximum of 3 years for Ph.D. students and a maximum of 2 years for Master of Research students. The total fee waiver is a maximum of 3 years for Ph.D. students and a maximum of 2 years for Research Master’s students.
This scholarship includes medical insurance for foreign students with UniSA’s preferred provider, BUPA, where the selected candidate requires a student visa. There is a thesis grant available. Please read your offer carefully to make sure it is right for you.

#2. International Research Tuition Scholarship (IRTS)
Value:
The IRTS total fee waiver is for a maximum period of 3 years for Ph.D. students and a maximum period of 2 years for Research Master students.
This scholarship does not include Foreign Student Health Coverage (OSHC), which is a condition of a student visa, and applicants are responsible for ensuring adequate coverage for themselves and their families, where applicable.
How to apply:
International students with an external sponsorship or scholarship can apply for any project listed. Some applicants may have additional conditions stipulated by their sponsor or fellow and may need to develop their project with a UniSA supervisor. You can find more information about it here.
#3. University President’s Scholarships (UPS)
Value:
