Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is open to all nationalities, including Brunei and non-Brunei. Applicants must have a first-class bachelor’s degree for the master’s degree. Applicants must have a master’s degree for the doctorate

Scholarship Coverage

The University of Brunei awards fully funded scholarships to all international students as well as national students. The university will cover all expenses, such as:

Full tuition fees, including enrollment and acceptance fees at Universiti Brunei Darussalam. UBD Graduate Scholarship: Living allowance of 500.00 per month for 36 months. Accommodation on campus for 36 months.

Round-trip economy class air ticket from your home country upon accepting the scholarship and to your home country upon completion of your studies. Scholarships for field research (BND 1000.00 for Arts and Humanities and BND 2000.00 for candidates for Sciences)

Scholarship Duration

The duration of the UBD Graduate Scholarship at the University of Brunei is divided into 3 categories, such as:

Master’s By course: the study period will be twelve (12) months full-time or eighteen (18) months, depending on the program.

Research Master: The study period will be twenty-four (24) months full-time.

Doctor of Philosophy: The minimum period of study will be thirty-six (36) months full-time or sixty (60) months part-time, depending on the program.
