Admission Category and Scholarship Period

Scholarship funding

The scholarship is a partial scholarship and the funding period is 2 years.

Free tuition and accommodation fees (double rooms only) during the 2-year funding period, and a 1,700 yuan/month living allowance provided

Provide basic medical insurance

Students are responsible for all expenses incurred during the study period beyond the funding period, and the charging standards are based on the standards for self-financed students.

Applicant qualifications

Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens and in good health

Applicant’s academic qualifications and age requirements (at the time of application): Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree and be under 35 years old

Chinese proficiency: Those with a new HSK level 5 certificate or corresponding Chinese proficiency.

Notarized highest academic qualification certificate (1 copy). Notarized transcript of your highest academic degree (1 copy). Study and research plan (1 copy): no less than 800 words, written in Chinese or English;

2 letters of recommendation from professors or associate professors: The letters of recommendation should have the recommender’s signature, seal, contact number, and email address.

Works of applicants for art majors: Applicants for music majors should provide a performance CD of about 30 minutes (applicants for composition majors need to provide sheet music and CD); applicants for art majors should provide 6 color photos (2 sketches) of their own works paintings, 2 color paintings, 2 other works).

Copy of “Physical Examination Form for Foreigners” ( download ): The physical examination form is in the designated format, and the original must be submitted when enrolling.
