The DESY Summer Student Program in Germany is now open. DESY is an international summer program for students. Candidates from around the world can apply. This is a fully-funded scholarship for international students in Germany. The program will take place from July 19 to September 8 and the online application will be open in early 2022 (probably in February).
Students currently enrolled in bachelor’s and master’s degrees can apply for this full scholarship. Students with any academic background are encouraged to apply for this DESY International Summer Program.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must be foreigners.
- You must have a bachelor’s degree and be within the first year of study for a master’s degree.
- Applicants who have already obtained a master’s degree or who will obtain a master’s degree by 2022 are not accepted.
- Applicants should not have previously been in DESY as summer students.
- Applicants must have a good knowledge of English.
- Basic computer skills are required.

Duration of the program
The summer program for students will take place from July 19 to September 8, 2022. Students are expected to stay for the entire period.

Financial coverage
DESY summer students are covering all expenses of the 100 participants selected for this research internship.
