Application is invited to apply for the University of Jyväskylä Scholarship In Finland 2023. This is a full tuition fee scholarship for an international student to study in Finland. The University of Jyväskylä offers scholarships covering tuition fee costs for its most successful international Master’s degree students
You can apply for the scholarship only in the same online form with which you apply for admission to a Master’s program at JYU. The scholarship cannot be applied for after applying for admission.
It is possible for an applicant to be admitted to more than one program at JYU, but the scholarship may be awarded only to one program per person, according to the preference that the applicant has stated on the application form.

JYU Scholarships are available for the best applicants liable to pay tuition fees. You can apply for a JYU scholarship (Finland Scholarship or JYU tuition fee scholarship) if you are:
- eligible to apply to study in an international Master’s degree program offered by JYU
- liable to pay tuition fees.

Starting from 2022, the following JYU scholarships are available for applications:
Finland scholarships cover 100% of the tuition fee for the first year of studies and include also a 5000 € grant towards the first year of living costs, paid to the student after starting their studies.
JYU Tuition Fee Scholarships
JYU tuition fee scholarships are awarded to cover tuition costs. There are two categories and several scholarships are awarded in each Master’s degree program, based on program-specific admission criteria.
Each Master’s degree program offers two scholarships covering 100% of the tuition fee and four scholarships covering 50% of the tuition fee. The JYU tuition fee scholarships are awarded for two years.
Scholarships at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science
The scholarship is 500 euros per month and is intended for living costs in Finland. Students admitted to a Master’s degree program to start their studies in 2022 can apply for this grant after arriving at JYU.
