Application is now open to apply for the University of Tokyo Summer Internship 2021. This is a fully-funded summer internship program for international student. There is no requirement for IELTS. The Duration of the Internship is from June 6 (Mon) to July 16 (Fri), 2021.

Eligibility Criteria
- Participants must be in their degree program at a college or university abroad for the entire duration of the UTSIP program and will not have completed their BA / BS degree.
- Participants considering enrolling for graduate study at the Graduate School of Border Sciences or other graduate schools at the University of Tokyo or elsewhere in Japan
- Participants must participate in all activities, including classes, lab work, and special events organized by UTSIP.

Financial Coverage
UTokyo offers a UTSIP scholarship and accommodation to participants.
- UTSIP Scholarship Amount: 110,000 JPY (110,000 JPY is enough for six weeks as it will also provide free accommodation.
- UTSIP organizes and pays for accommodation
- The GSFS health insurance plan offers:
- Death or disability benefits: 1 million yen
- Medical benefits: 1 million yen
- Liability: 100 million yen
- No airline ticket will be provided.
