Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Mandela scholarship2020 at the University of Sussex, UK, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must have applied for and received a full-time qualified master’s offer at the University of Sussex, beginning in September 2020.
- Applicants must be nationals of Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
- Applicants must submit a separate scholarship application after receiving an offer for a place in the master’s program.
- Candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and academic potential and must be willing to return home to contribute their share to the development of their home country after completing their studies.
- Applicants must have obtained the relevant bachelor’s degree with excellent qualifications that will allow admission to a postgraduate course at the University of Sussex.
