University of Southern Danish Government Scholarship 2023 (Funded)

The applicant is invited to apply for the Danish Government Scholarship 2023. The University of Southern Denmark offers the Danish government scholarship, backed by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, to certain candidates in recognition of the significant investment that foreign students make during education.

This is one of the noble chances for an international student to study in Denmark with a foreign scholarship program. All international student belongs from any nationality is eligible to apply for the University of Southern Denmark scholarship for foreign student.

Scholarships will be awarded to the most qualified eligible candidates. All eligible applicants who are offered a place of study will automatically be considered for the scholarship. A separate application is not required. Just apply for admission at the University of Southern Denmark.

Eligibility Criteria

This is a general eligibility criterion. To qualify for a University of Southern Denmark Government scholarship, you must:

University students with bachelor’s degrees from countries outside the EU / EEA and Switzerland. Citizens of a country outside the EU, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland.

Enrolled in a comprehensive higher education program. A limited-time residence permit was granted in Denmark due to education.

Scholarship Benefits

Denmark’s scholarships for international students are partial scholarships and therefore do not cover full costs. The costs to be covered by the Danish government grant are shown below:

Full exemption from tuition fees and subsidies.
Cost of living in the amount of DKK 3000 per month before taxes.

Who can get the scholarship?

To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a non-EU/EEA citizen enrolling in one of the following Master’s programs in Sønderborg with program start in September:

MSc in Engineering – Mechatronics – both profiles
MSc in Engineering – Electronics (Sønderborg)

The scholarships will be awarded to the best qualified of the eligible applicants. All eligible applicants who are offered a study place will automatically be considered for the scholarship. No separate application is needed.

The Faculty of Engineering has the possibility to award highly qualified applicants to other programs in Sønderborg a scholarship as well.

Selection criteria

The most qualified point-based applicants will receive the scholarship. See the “Entry Requirements” section for each program. All documentation must be available before the application deadline to ensure that the university can process your request.
